Shiva Education Society was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Shiva Educational Society by Er. Purshotam Sharma, an entrepreneur, a great mentor and an eminent educationalist. The flagship Institute was the Shiva College of Education established in year 2007 as the first B.Ed college of the district with an intake of 200 seats, which is NAAC Accreditated.
Tech. in year 2012 Shiva society started a polytechnic college named Shiva Polytechnic offering Diploma courses. From the session 2015-2016 the society has started Shiva Institute of B. Pharmacy and also stated Shiva International School at GhumarwinDistt. Bilaspur. This society is also running an Ayurvedic Hospital name Shiva Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital and BAMS course at Chandpur, Bilaspur, from the session 2016-2017
